This is a very frequently asked question as many sellers & manufacturers use these terms as synonyms but they do have a difference. Custom rugs are created by customising an existing rug in terms of design, material, colour or shape & size. 

For instance, you saw an orange coloured bohemian silk rug in rectangular shape but you want the same design in wool & blue colour, thus the manufacturer will recreate the same design in the same shape with a few changes, this is customisation whereas Bespoke rugs are completely tailor made which means these are made from scratch as per the customer’s requirements.
